Introduction
Javascript is the language of the web, if you are considering a career in web development, you need to learn Javascript. JS has become one of the most important languages for browser application development due to its relatively easy learning curve and simple syntax.
When it comes to programming on desktops and tablets as well as mobile devices such as phones and watches, you will want to learn Javascript.
I've seen many people decide not to learn Javascript because they think it's too complex. This article will dispel those myths and help you understand how powerful and important Javascript is for your career.
About learning JS as a beginner-
Learning Javascript is like learning how to write in English. It's a language that can be used for almost anything, and once you know it, you can use it to create amazing things.
I'll walk you through the basics of Javascript so that by the end of this article, you'll feel comfortable enough with it to start creating code yourself!
Introduction to Javascript
Javascript is a high-level, dynamic, untyped, and interpreted programming language. It's the most popular server-side scripting language in use today.
Javascript is used by websites to add interactivity and provide an interface between the user and their website. It's also used in web apps to build interactive components such as games, dashboards and forms that react to user input.
Javascript's popularity has grown tremendously over the past few years due to its ease of use and extensibility. It can be embedded into HTML pages to provide extra functionality, or be used as a standalone application development language.
Javascript is a client-side scripting language that has been around since 1995. It's based on C++ but with simplified syntax for better readability. Javascript supports object-oriented programming and event-driven programming, making it ideal for building websites and other applications in conjunction with HTML5 technologies such as HTML5 canvas.
Javascript Objects
What is an Object?
An object is a data structure that can be accessed by its properties (or attributes). Objects have methods that can be called on them and they can also have properties which are used to store data about themselves. An object's method calls are executed by the JavaScript interpreter, but only when there's something in the object's property called by JavaScript.
What are Objects?
Objects are the main types of data that can be stored inside variables in Javascript programs (and other languages too). Objects are made up of properties (attributes) which allow you to define what kind of data each property represents, e.g
Why to learn Javascript?
Learning Javascript is a great way to increase your career options and make yourself more marketable. The language is widely used in web development, which means that if you know it, you can work on most types of websites. It also has many applications in other fields like game development and artificial intelligence.
If you want to learn Javascript, there are a few things that you should do before starting out:
Get an understanding of the language itself by reading articles or taking online courses.
Practice coding by creating small programs with the language.
Start looking for jobs in the field by posting your resume on sites like Linkedin etc.
How to write JS in HTML?
Writing Javascript in HTML is a bit of an art. As you write your script, you'll need to keep in mind the following:
You have to be able to identify what things are being accessed on the page. For example, if you access the DOM (Document Object Model) for a particular element, it will return information about that element. If you access an event handler on an object (such as a button or link), it will return information about the buttons and links contained within that object.
You need to be able to write your code so that it can be executed on the client side and on the server side. This means that your code needs to be able to handle errors and make decisions based on data available from either source.
When writing Javascript in HTML, you should use a style sheet when possible because it makes reading your code easier for other people who might want to edit it later on down the line (like developers).

How to write Javascript in HTML?
You can add Javascript to your HTML page by using the
Go ahead and open up the editor and paste this in between the opening tag and closing tag. Then save it as a new file called test.html. You should see something like this:
<title>test</title><script>alert("Hello World!");</script>
Conclusion
It's important to note that in my intro to JavaScript article, I've only covered the most basic aspects of this language. For many, it will be enough to get started. But if you're interested in learning more than the basics, sites like w3schools and gfg are great places to get a leg up.
If you are a complete beginner to programming, the first thing that you should be doing is getting familiar with the basic concepts. Beginners programming books will help you to understand the concepts and learn how to put them into practice in your code.
Javascript is a powerful endless language. You want to use it to develop your own User Interfaces or to interact with image and audio files, you need some experience with it. If this doesn't sound like something you're good at, get the basics finished in Learn Python the Hard Way. Once this is done, get yourself familiar with the jQuery cookbook Javascript section and make sure you understand what every recipe is doing and which ones you want to implement in your future projects. The dojox library contains every function you might be looking for when developing interfaces with websockets or WebRTC, but I wouldn't recommend it if you are only interested in working with Javascript.
